5 Easter Play Ideas with the CONNETIX Pastel Portal Pack

1. Detailed Easter Eggs

Create small eggs using mini tiles and equilateral triangles, or build medium eggs by combining mini tiles, medium portal tiles and triangles. Due to the Smart-Spin technology, the mini tiles can also be layered with ease to add colourful patterns and symmetry.

Ready for an egg-normous masterpiece? Use all three portal tile sizes with squares and triangles from your collection. Build your eggs flat on the floor, vertically on a whiteboard, or challenge yourself to stand one upright for a striking Easter display.

Tip: Use clear tiles, rectangles and base plates to support large creations and help them stand tall.

2. Sweet Easter Baskets

CONNETIX Easter baskets look amazing with portal tiles.. Add chenille stem whiskers, paper eyes and a pink mini tile for the nose to bring your bunny to life. Don’t limit yourself to these though. Try stickers, pom poms, or any other crafty materials to give your bunny its own unique personality.

4. Cute Chicken Coop

Build a chicken coop for some fun imaginative play. The middle of the portal tiles creates perfect entryways for little chicks to wander in and out of their cosy home. Stabilise the coop underneath with small rectangles arranged in a square in the middle. Three-square rectangles are great for creating a roof with a small overhang, but large portal tiles will work too. Create small ledges that extend from large portal tiles with strong mini tiles. These make perfect nesting spots for chickens to lay their eggs. Around the coop, build a simple play area with medium portal tiles, shredded paper nests and small ramps made from rectangles or mini tiles. Soon you’ll have a busy little yard full of cute chickens climbing, exploring and laying eggs.

5. Classic Rabbit with an Artistic Twist

Most people know this adorable classic CONNETIX rabbit, but the Pastel Portal Pack lets you give it a fresh artistic twist. Mix and match pastel portal tiles to create different colour combinations and choose your favourite rabbit to display. Add sweet little flowers made from mini tiles around the rabbit to complete the scene. You can even turn the build into a ball run to add movement and playful Easter fun.
