At CONNETIX, we are lucky to have an incredible team of Play Ambassadors made up of parents, educators and specialists who are passionate about play! They continuously create inspiring builds that showcase the endless possibilities of CONNETIX tiles. This Easter, we’ve gathered a selection of creative play ideas from our Play Ambassadors to celebrate the season and highlight the versatility of our tiles. Whether your child loves storytelling, hands-on learning or big builds, there’s something here for everyone!
1. A Classic Bunny Build
Tanya used clear tiles to create a sweet bunny with a little blue jacket—can you guess which famous bunny inspired her design? This build is a charming nod to a beloved storybook character and a great way to encourage storytelling through play.
2. Mini Easter Build Keychain
Latoya printed our free resources in a smaller size to create a keychain filled with build ideas. Her daughter used these prompts to design a wonderful Easter and spring display on their large whiteboard. This is a fantastic way to combine creativity with independence in play!
3. Giant Hatching Chick
Sarah is a pro at BIG builds! She created a giant chick hatching from its egg—how amazing is that? This oversized design is a perfect way to bring excitement this Easter and is also an amazing backdrop for any Easter family celebrations!
4. Rainbow Bunny Ball Run
Corey and her little one created a super fun Rainbow Bunny Ball Run—because who doesn’t love a splash of colour? This bright and cheerful activity is sure to bring smiles while promoting fine motor skills and problem-solving.
5. Easter Egg Ball Run
Ruth designed an Easter Egg Ball Run with intricate patterns formed using pastel and clear tiles. Not only is this a fun and engaging activity, but it also offers a fantastic learning opportunity to explore symmetry, colours and design. This is such a great activity for the whole family having everyone complete one patterned line at a time.
6. Easter Word Hunt
Claire combined the Easter theme with playful learning activities. Little ones must find the correct letters to recreate Easter words—such a fun way to build early literacy skills! Imagine hiding the tiles throughout the room first, to add a fun scavenger hunt element too.
7. Carrot Ball Run
Jarmilla made an eye-catching Carrot Ball Run that looks super fresh and fun! This stunning piece resembles a work of art and would make a beautiful seasonal decoration in any stylish home, while doubling as a fun and engaging play activity!
8. Giant Easter Word Search
Jess took vertical play to the next level by creating a huge word search for her boys. This interactive and educational activity is perfect for encouraging word recognition while having fun! This is also a great activity for the whole family; who can find the words the quickest?
9. Easter Egg Target Game
Lisa added a game component to the Easter fun with an egg target-throwing game. With different point values, this game is a great way to promote coordination and friendly competition while practising addition skills!
10. Bunny Coding Maze
Jody added a fun coding activity where the bunny needs to find its way to the basket. Chalk markers are such a cool addition to CONNETIX tiles, making this an engaging and educational way to introduce early coding concepts through play!
11. Sweet Easter Bunny
Pamela made the sweetest little Easter bunny who found a crunchy carrot. How cute is the added googly eye? It gives the bunny a whole lot of personality and makes the build even more adorable!
12. Light up Chick
Roxana created the most stunning Easter display by adding fairy lights to her 3D chick. This looks so stylish! Perfect for a fancy Easter dinner with the family. Imagine adding this fantastic creation in the middle of the table as a centrepiece! What’s better than some play in between courses?
13. Loose part Play set up
Carmen set up this delightful loose part play set up in full Easter theme. Just add some cute little easter eggs to this scene for endless fun. This is a great set up for free imaginative play, but you could also ask your little one to sort the eggs per colour or size if you would like to add an educational twist to it.
